Angels in America: Perestroika
February 13 -15 @ 7:30pm | February 16 @ 2:30pm
The Geyer Performing Arts Center is proud to present the powerful continuation of Tony Kushner’s Pulitzer Prize-winning epic, Angels in America: Perestroika. This celebrated show explores the lives of unforgettable characters amidst the AIDS crisis of the 1980s. As Prior Walter faces his battle with illness, the play delves into themes of love, loss, identity, and transformation, offering a bold vision of hope and change.
March 13-15 @ 7:30pm | March 16 @ 2:30pm
Based on Anne Frank’s poignant real-life diary, this heart-wrenching play brings to life the story of a young Jewish girl and her family who are hiding from the Nazis during World War II.
Through Anne’s personal reflections, this production captures the enduring strength of the human spirit as the family remains resilient in the face of unimaginable, deadly prejudice from the Third Reich.
January 10 & 11th at 7:30pm and January 12th at 2:30pm.
Come enjoy our annual "One Acts Festival" presented at the Geyer Performing Arts Center! Four brand-new plays including Dream Girlfriend by Jordan Gilbert, The Perhaps by F.J. Hartland, The Hunchback of Marshall Avenue by Randy Gross, and Disrupter by Emmie White will be presented.
